Flecainide is used to prevent certain types of life-threatening irregular heartbeats, such as sustained ventricular tachycardia and paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia. It works by slowing electrical signals in the heart to stabilize the heart rhythm.

Take as directed by your doctor, usually once every 12 hours. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush or chew. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully.
